I emailed my dealer and pricing isn't out yet. If it's under 60k then....:pepper: If it goes over 60k I'm out.

And i just found out that Ford kept a 285 rear tire on the rear. Unreal. They must have a reason for this! If the 285 is not enough for the current car, how is it going to hold up over 650hp?

Exactly ! I heard $60's for this new one, unknown what the "pkg's" will cost. I'm sure some dealers will jump this to a $100K, saying , "rare", "exclusive",last before the body style change, yadda,yadda...

Hopefully the new launch control and torsen diff. will help out with some of the traction problems. I was really surprised to see they kept the 285. Thought for sure they would go a little bigger.

ZR1 FRONT tire is a 285 !! Rear is 335/25/20, gee ,dont hear about traction issues......
If I could get Berge Ford to come down on the 2011 Shelby they've had for a long time Id be all over that one, they pretty much still want 52k and they have 3 -2012 Shelby's, they better make a deal somewhere, since the 650 HP is going to put a hurtin on the older models. I've read MSRP is 65k on the 2013. Ill be waiting in the wings for guys trading in the 2012 for the 2013. Soon as I find one I can get into, I'm in a Shelby, 550 HP is plenty for me. Well at least thats the plan.

Makes good sense for sure- I'm thinkng the 2011-12's should be apleanty once most of those owners ditch them for the 2013. Is Berge asking MSRP on that 11? Every dealer in this state wanted either MSRP or more which I wouldn't pay and didn't pay. There are many dealers that will go 1k over invoice, they're just not in AZ unfortunately.
I'm sort of on the fence about getting a 13 or waiting for the 14, simply because I don't want to be the guinea pig again and buy the first model year of something new, only to find it has a major flaw (ie 2011 1-2 shift). 65k will be tough to swallow for a car I rarely drive, but man I bet it sure will be fun!
Well Berge invoice is higher but the actual cost from what I understand is 50700.00 so with them having 3 - 2012's it would seem for the same money most would push for a 2012. Arizona car dealers suck azz. If you look online you can find so much less expensive cars than what they want here. Bell Ford has a white 2012 Shelby they have marked up with MARKET ADJUSTMENT of nearly 13k!!!! They are smoking some serious crack.:z7shysterical: The should be arrested for price gouging! Any fool that would pay anything close to 70k for a Mustang is an idiot. 45k is about my limit so that pretty much leaves me out of the 2013. Ill wait a few years and get one used.
Soon as I find the right one I'm all over it! Ill take a 2010 or a 2011.

Peoria Ford has two sitting on their lot and have been there for about two months. They got around 10k markups! Lol!!!
Has anyone been to the phoenix auto show yet? Was wondering if the 2013 Mustangs were there.
We are going tomorrow (Sunday).

Well adding 13k to the sticker based on Market Adjustment is criminal it doesn't matter what dealership it is. It literally says that on the Sticker and has been written in. It should say "Sucker Adjustment" I suppose that's why its still sitting in the show room. Id love to buy one of these cars but the greed from the dealerships is ridiculous, it truly seems to be an Arizona dealership greed. They act as if you cant get one of these cars anywhere else. If you look around other states are thousands less expensive than here. Im contemplating going to Vegas and buying from Gaudin Ford, Riverside Ford also seems to have a few. I will buy a Shelby at some point, I'm just waiting for the first 2013 to hit the lots and then the 2011-2012's will come down, unless Shelby should parish before that happens, then these will get more expensive!

Its not just az. Cali has it too. When the 05's came out, you couldnt go to a dealer in SoCal without seeing AT LEAST a 10K markup on the GT's. I noticed alot of dealers still have markups on Raptors too!
I'm trying to work a deal with Peoria Ford we'll see what happens. Also the auto show was weak. There was no 2013 Shelby, and the cars that were there was very sparse.
