Talked to Mr. Fossett earlier today and he mentioned how smooth and easy of a transaction he had by ordering his Shelby straight from the factory. I forget if there was someone on here that worked for Berge Ford but I would like to get in touch with someone that works at Ford and seeing what steps to take to possibly order a new mustang Gt with the options I want

You might want to message Dave he seems to be pretty connected with Ford and Berge. That's where I'd start.

Call Greg Okolita at Berge to order a 2012, the 11's are done for now.. 480-497-1111

I've been working with Dave Koehler? His name is on the CMC website. Club members can buy at dealer invoice plus you keep any rebates. Dave, should I have started with Greg?

Dave is the current rep for CMC, Greg was the rep when Dave was President so Im sure either will help you.

Well I tried calling Greg this mornig but got no response, I would love to find one for invoice plus rebates, or does anyone offer the X plan through Ford? I wanna see if maybe Dave can help me as well

Invoice minus rebates is going to beat the X-plan. I know - I already looked at that for a 2012 Mustang. Are you a Copperstate Mustang Club member? If so the invoice deal is automatic at Berge.

As a follow up, I ordered a Consumer Report pricing sheet on the 2012 Mustang. I could tell you the dealer invoice and the actual dealer cost if you let me know the car and options you are looking at. 2011 will be a little lower - if you can find one on the lot. As Dave says they are only making 12s now and have been since about April. Pretty crazy that the 2012 are out so early!

For the record I looked hard for a 2011 or 2012 Mustang GT. It is tough to find one, or if you do its the color that makes it hard, and because of that I found the dealers weren't to into the dealing mood, knowing they could sell it regardless. The old supply and demand at its peak! I was also looking for an automatic. I found a few manuals but after driving them around all day realized how shifting in traffic becomes a PITA. Camelback Ford has a NEW stripped Grabber Blue with cloth for pretty cheap, they also had a white loaded 2011 they were willing to deal on, but it was used. In the end if I wasnt going to get what I wanted, which was 2012 Ingot Silver or a 2011 Sterling Gray GT I decided to settle for the 2010 and just enjoy the look and feel of the new body style.
So I bought the 2010 just because it looked like the 11-12 and figured I will have enough equity in the 10 that when the newer GTs are slightly less popular, or more readily available, then Id go after an 11-12. This allows me a new car again in about 18 months! :bounce:
My wife should love that idea when it happens. At this point I'm thrilled with the 2010, it feels faster than my 06 and a lot more stable on the road, less cheap feeling, I also like the Microsoft Sync, which I didn't have in the 2006, and love the ambient lighting with the door sill lighting.
If your not in a hurry take your time and get what you want! I'm a little less patient. If the 2006 had not been a clunking bump machine I would have held out longer.

Knowing I'm going to get into a 2011 or 2012 down the line gives me something to look forward to. Having the 2006 fully paid off helped tremendously for any future Mustang I want.

Is there anyway to contact Dave or relay the info to him? Cant seem to find a way to get a hold of him. Im oretty settled on the 2011 or 2012, whichever I can get financed for easier. My top choice is a grabber blue but will consider other colors. I would also like the shaker 1000 system in it! I mean, I can wait ofr the right one, but I also dont have any transportation whatsoever so im kind of impatient at the same time, been about a month without a car now and it blows!

Your going to have to find an 11 on the shelf somewhere as they are already ordering 12's... Greg is 480-577 4734 cell number..

Yeah I know that but im just not sure if it would be easier/cheaper to get financing on a "used" 2011 or a brand new 2012 Gt? Not sure which way to go about it. And thank you Jacostang, if I dont hear from him tomorrow I will try his cell. I left him a message on his machine at work but never heard back from him, so i'll try the cell

Arizona really seems to have slim pickens for the 5.0 so maybe consider going out of state. Champion Ford in Katy Texas seemed to have more than anyone else. When you ask the dealers they say its "cash for clunkers" has caused this shortage. Also the floods and tornadoes have sucked up a lot of cars. There also we not hundreds of thousands of 2011 Mustangs made.

Spread these cars over 50 states and that doesn't leave much surplus on hand.
