Headed out to Speedworld last night to see how the car does now that the S/C is on. First I would like to thank Dennis aka (trucker) for lending me his jacket and helmet so I could run. When I got out there there were 3 Stangs and 2 Corvettes. Vetts were running low 12's, the one GT (new model with an Edelbrock S/C) pulled off an 11.2, The other 2 GT's were older, one with a Vortech running high 13's and the other was stock running high 14's. I did 4 runs and my best time was 13.9 at 106. Spun like crazy with the street tires, but the car pulled hard. There were maybe a total of 12 cars out last night which surprised me. Hondas mostly. Overall I had a good time. Now I need to get the intercooler on, retune and some sticky tires and I should do better. Here is my time slip.

Looking at your time slip there's a lot more left. Try some M/T ET Streets, love mine. Congrats!

I ran 14.0 in my 05gt and wasn't sure if that was a good time. I thought stock got a lower time then that lol.

The problem is mine wasn't an excuse. ;)
I managed a 1.88 and a 1.86 60ft out of a bone stock BULLIT that day. First time driving one, I was fairly impressed with it as a stock vehicle.

I guess I need to work on my launch. My 60ft was horrible. Did a quick burn out to clean the tires off, launched at idle and had tracking control off. The car kept pulling hard through the traps. Maybe launching at a higher RPM and turning the traction control on would help.

Just give me heads up and I'll go to the track with you to help ya sort things out. I won't drink up TOO much of your beer!.......J/K!

that was my problem too was not bringing the rpms up. I think 2k or so on the launch would do me good.

Just blame it on the clocks if you go too quick for your safety equipment.:laufhing:

Yeah I need to find a jacket and helmet before the 27th. Maybe I should launch like you do?? That might help my 60ft!
