I just wanted to make sure I read this right on the 'Calendar' section of the CMC website. Is that a typo for the date? April 30th from 3-8pm? It will be 100 degrees F. by that time and in the hottest part of the day. I remember last year it was at the end of March and it got up to 90 degrees F. What is the 'Board' thinking doing it that late in the car show season? I hope Dave has an ambulance waiting on the sidelines for heatstroke victims. I was going to go but not now. What a shame.............

Maybe there were circumstances beyond control on the dates? Does anyone ever pick up a phone anymore and rationally call someone to find out information rather than making a fuss on a public forum for the whole world to view?

I'm fine with the dates myself. At some point in time we have to realize that we live in a place that has some un-bearable weather.

I'm pretty sure responding to this simply makes it worse... But the people running the club are doing it not because they want the position, but because they are willing to put in the time that others don't. Its a thankless job already and posts like this do not help.

You get a atta boy for your $0.02 it takes alot of work to put these shows together
and try and find dates that don't conflict we live in the desert deal with it

@ AZOrange and Trucker- It seems like I am being attacked here and not the other way around like you stated above. So if something isn't to your liking it is known as a 'Fuss' or 'Irrational'? Isn't that what a Public Forum is for? Did I use any foul language, attack or call anyone names, etc? All I asked was a question and made a comment about what the CMC Board was thinking when making this decision. I feel this date will not produce a good turnout. Isn't that what some of the point is here, to get as many Mustang's together as possible? How about this- maybe they could have done the Show a month earlier rather than later from the original date of last year. You don't know me and don't know how I am involved with the CMC or this Hobby. I feel like I speak from experience. I know a lot when it comes to this hobby as I have been doing it for 25+ years. I have built my Mustang's myself in my garage and raced them as well and know a thing or two about what it takes to put on a Car Show. Like I said, this is a 'Public Forum' and if I am breaking any rules let the Forum Moderator know and he can delete my Account. Sorry if I brutally offended anyone. Have a nice day. (That was my 1 cent worth)........BTW- this is a free Country and I chose to ask the question on this Forum rather than use a phone to call someone.

Doesnt really matter, when the show is, you have not been to one in years even when they were in March so drop it....... Thread closed..
