Hello everyone. 2 years ago, I finished my 67 Hardtop project. I built a 200 6 cylinder with some nice mods including the Australian head, 2bbl carb, headers, etc. etc.

I like to have a project going on. Last month, I pulled the motor out of the car to clean and detail both engine and engine bay. But, with the motor out, it struck me that a new project was in order.

Today, I picked up a donor 91 GT with a strong 5.0L and AOD tranny. I want to drop the drivetrain into my 67.

So I'm looking for the "how to" guide. Anyone got any good articles/literature I should read up before I start pulling the parts I think I need from the 91?

Thanks.

is your thought to go EFI or carb?

EFI has been my plan. That's why I got a 91 (87-93) for the donor.

Here's a good article that Mustangs Plus has on their site:

Interesting article. Thank you for sharing. I am going the route of replacing the original engine and tranny from the car with a complete drivetrain from a 91 GT Mustang. This article is about converting your existing 289 to fuel injection. Definitely a cheaper way to go and get improved performance.

Thanks again.
