I have a 2003 Tahoe with the 5.3 V8 engine, and it has developed a leak that I believe is from the water pump as water pumps do after time. I am not sure if it's the gasket, the seal, thru the hole, or somewhere else as it is hard to see for sure where exactly due to the other components, units, pulleys that are in the way of clear vision. It only leaks while the engine is running, and the leak trickles down the front of the block straight under the crank shaft, and above the oil pan.
I have limited tools, experience, ability and a place to attempt changing out the water pump on my own. With this, I am looking for someone that has what I am lacking that could replace the water pump at a reasonable price over a weekend (wife needs it for transport to work and back on weekdays), or perhaps someone that would like to do it as a Tech Day training project; drinks and pizza on me.
If you would like to take on this task/project, or know of someone that might or can, please send me a PM.
