Wondering if maybe the "Old Name" has a bad reputation so they are trying to hide it with a name change, or just maybe the new owenership wants to start fresh from ground zero name and all?

I think the old name had kinda geezer affect(riding of into the Sunset of your life), being next to Sun City. Change do happen and I think this is the best for this Ford store. Previous owner really didn't make an effort to market the product (very little advertising, no performance efforts). But I hear that the group that now owns the store are real arm twisters (like Bell Ford). Peoria Ford definitly gets my personal "Stay Away Award" (like Bell Ford), until I hear otherwise.

Obviously you have not read some of the posts on this site (find the thread about the guy that tried to get a GT-500). I tried to buy a new 08 Bullitt at Bell Ford (they marked up 10K over msrp) was jacked around, so I went to Sanderson and got the same car the same day at msrp. When the sales person at Bell called me later to see if I wanted the car I told him the deal I got at Sanderson and he accused me of being a lier.

When I got my 04 I went into Bell and left a few minutes later after the sales guy told me the price.

Would not send anyone to Bell Ford... Called on a Bullitt and they said yeah come and look at it, drove all the way from Mesa and it was sold 2 days earlier.. They just wanted to get me down there and try to sell me another Mustang... Not.....

Isn't Bell ford owned by the Berge family?

Without speaking bad about any dealership, I can say without reservation that the sales process at Sanderson Ford is the most streamlined and straightfoward of those I have been involved in. The final price is reached within 15 minutes of a credit check and I was out the door with my 2007 Roush in less than one hour. And I was comfortable with the price.

I tried to buy my 11 GT500 at both bell and sunset. Bell wouldn't budge at $500 over MSRP, and sunset was WAY over MSRP. I called their bluff and bought at $1k over invoice from an out of state dealer.
I will say that sunset treated me right when the car was drop shipped to them from Ford- even when I purchased it from an out of state dealer. They only charged me $200 for the drop ship and prep. They're my closest dealer, but always seem to have high sales prices.

I agree, Sanderson treated me great and the process was very fast when I bought my F250.
