NOOBIE here from CA.

Hey everyone I just moved here to Phoenix about a week ago. Was recommend to this site from a guy and said this is were the AZ people are hanging out.

The name is Justin and like I said we just moved here from Sacramento. Got tired of the California crap so we decided to try something new. I am a racer so you will be seeing me at the track and I'm all about car shows so you really should be seeing me everywhere. And if you have a well put together car I'm sure I will be talking to you.

As far as my line up goes:

66 Coupe daily driver

04 GT with suspension, exhaust, and nitrous. Race this one in PSCA Mustang Maddness. Also for now kinda daily driver as well.

90 GT Hatchback show car mainly but will see track time

95 GT trying to make its way out. Right now its mini tubed, full cage, shortened 8.8, spool, fuel cell, parachute, and lots of other goodies.

I look forward to meeting everyone and getting to know you guys on here. Oh yeah and I'm also looking for work if anyone has any leads LOL!

Car shows on West side are
Friday nights just east of 51st Ave. & Bell Rd. at Chili Bombers.

Saturday afternoons & evenings at 83rd Ave. & Beardsley where the Safeway used to be. They get a whole parking lot full of cars here!

Saturday there is also a show at K-Mart at 67th Ave. and Bell Rd.

If you like Crusin' then every 4th Sat. night is Cruisin' on Main St. in Mesa. This is a blast!

Cool thanks for the info! I was just looking to see if there were any car shows tonight. The only car I have right now that drives everywhere is my 04. Since I moved though I think I am really going to focus on getting my 90 back on the road.

So I went to the car show on 51st and Bell and it was a good turnout with a few nice Mustangs there! Anyone from here go there tonight? There was a dark silver notch, a black 93 cobra, a yellow 99-04, and a red cobra with every autozone chrome piece you can put on a car and a Saleen tail. The thing would look good if he got rid of the extra crap! Oh yeah and what is it with louvers here, its like the third car I have seen with them??????

Thanks Trisha! I have been looking into your club since before I got here and really would like to see what your all about but I met some of your members at last weekends cruise in at the pavilions and seems like they are just car polishers. I was in a club like that before and when I had the fastest and a beautiful car they gave me the cold shoulder. Then I started and ran my own club and had a blast cause we did everything and pushed racing not so much the car shows. But I will definitely check you guys out and meet the people and have some fun. Wow Im sorry you had that experience, most of the members are not like that. We love our Mustangs. I personally dont drag or nothing, I just make sure its clean lol. Hope to see you and meet you soon.
P.s. I know who you met lol and yes he is anal about his car, but really nice guy once you get to know him.

Yeah I have heard good things about your club and am going to look into it more. I would like to meet up with you guys some time or cruise with you and say hi to everyone. I too love all my cars and will talk or listen to anyone with the same passion for Mustangs as me.

They do polish their cars a good bit. LOL
I have a fast clean car and nobody has ever given me the cold shoulder.

Your also a newer body style! I have a Fox, SN95 and a 66 that when I'm done with it the old guys will crap their pants when they see it. Especially since right now its as stock as stock gets. LOL! So I guess as long as I bring out the 04 and act like I'm polishing something I should be good to go!!! J/K... But good to know thanks.

i'm a racer and a car polisher, and i have been a copperstate member since 05. they are an amazing club, and welcome folks no matter what they do. my car has to serve many purposes, and car shows are just one. but copperstate is full of many great members, and many that do alot of different things with thier cars. i'd definetly check it out.

Just in case the West side is not too far away from you, Wild West Mustangs is meeting tonight at Crazy Earl's, on Peoria just west of the 101.
It's on the north side less than 1/4 mile from 101. All are welcome. You can come early to get some eats, we meet in the room to the right of cashier's station.
Meeting starts at 6:30pm.

Copperstate is an awesome club also. They are well organized and put on very professional shows, at great locations.
Always worth the trip from the west side, I have always been welcomed and never had problem.
Several of us from WWM attend their shows and Copperstate also makes the trip west regularly to the west side shows.
We sure appreciate the reciprocation!
