Im looking at getting a supercharger here in the near future, wanting to know the major differences from the traditional superchargers and the centrifugal. Pros, Cons?
Thanks

I had a Procharger on my old GT. Loved it to death. Much easier to stay out of boost. They are slightly more efficient than a twin screw but the boost comes in differently. Centri's make more boost the higher you go in RPM where as Eaton's and other roots/twin screw generally make close to peak boost ~2k RPM.

as you can see it looks pretty similar to an na graph. It's rpm based where as the torque curve on my cobra would be pretty much flat from 2k to redline

I haven't driven a centi blown car but I have driven a few turbo'd cars and many different Roots-type blown cars. I hated waiting for boost on the turbo cars but I love the instant tire shredding torque you get from a Roots/Screw type.

Prolly not. I had a few friends with Turbo'd Eagle Talons. First time I ever experienced torque steer and turbo lag.

I still will stick with 400+ ft/lbs torque @ 2500 rpm.

ya i was only like 450+tq at 3k rpm, but lacking 2 cylinders lol.

if i had to go back and choose between turbo or s/c though, i woulda kept it stock
