n00b from Pima County

Hi all!
I'm a retired Ford line tech (yes, worked at the stealership!). Always loved Mustangs - we are the same age! I'm about to get my 11th Stang, a '05 - '08 GT(budgetary restraints keep me from a new one). Should have it within 3 weeks...

It's my first S197, so I'm hoping to pick up some tips on parts and tuning, and things of the like.

Anyone hang out around Tucson, AZ? Phoenix?

Welcome! I hang out in Tucson, Phoenix & in between. I teach in Phoenix and Tucson, live in Casa Grande and my girlfriend lives in Corona de Tucson. She has a '68 that we are restoring. Maybe I'll see you around.

TuksonMike is who you want to talk to about modifications/tuning/anything practically. Which Stealership did you work at? Mike worked at Tuttle for a few years, my Uncle worked at Click back in the 70's and I know a few people at each still

Car hangouts? It changes all the time. Usually the ricers find us and get our spot busted with cops so we tend to keep it on the DL haha. But the main places are Starbucks on Sat nights at Park Mall, sometimes Sir Vezas on Saturday night, Little Anthonys car show every other Saturday. Ajo/I10 Chevron usually brings out all of Tucson as well. Last time I think there were 200 cars in the parking lot

Wow we have Saturdays jam packed. We do events all the time so check that section
