What are these guys doing...

on the starting line. They are moving a switch (15-16 second mark) on the rear of the car. What exactly is going on??

Battery disconnect I believe. No need to be hooked up to the battery once the car is running.

Thats what I was thinking. If you flip the batt. disconnect the whole car better shut down or you will fail tech, I think.

This is right from a racer.... I guess you learn something new everyday.

This is for the Computer Logging program. We use them on a couple of our dragsters to get run information so we can tune the car. It will gather data during the run.
