Mole Skin & Window Tinting

If anyone has gotten the "mole skin and/or window felt" put in their 2005 - 2009 Mustang to prevent window tinting from being scratched all to hell, I would like to know where you had it done, and for approximately how much?

I'd like mine done right, as I'm not much for the half ass stuff.

i had it done to my vert after replacing the tint about 3 times. i had mine installed in cali but you might want to call performance solutions. after putting the felt on never had to replace the window tint again. what year is your car? i believe the 07 and up models already had that in the window to prevent the scratching.

Yup you can get new strips from Ford that came on the 08? and new Stangs (mine is an 07 and didn't have it).

Check this thread... Only way to go.

Thanks for the update ! I was just wondering the other day if the newer Mustangs have been improved. I've also read that the 2011 will have adjustable headrests ! (Finally!) :pepper::pepper:

Hey that's awesome! I had the moleskin added to my drivers side, but I'll just get the new weatherstripping/tint for the other side.. Those streaks in the tint are ANNOYING!
