Bad motor mounts?

What are some symptoms off bad motor mounts? everytime i start letting the clutch out i hear this like shaking noise and the shift stick shakes. it happens when i shift up in gears but when i down shift it doesnt. if it is a motor mount what to look for? tears in the rubber?

you probably have clutch chatter... bad motor mount would be one solid bang under hard accel...

Do a good visual on the trans/motor mounts. Tearing or peieces missing are obvious signs of failure.
