with a shitty 1.96 60ft I went 12.05 @ 118mph no nitrous :twothumbsup: so I think I am going to try and put the cage in this week so I can go out again next week and try for that 11 second slip!
which cage you getting? MM or custom?
the track sucked last night ,,,,but good run i ran after u with a 12.05 @116 w/2.0 60 ft ...

its a MM but its been customized. it bolts in where the back seat would be but instead I will have a rear seat delete with holes for the cage. Hopefully it will look good in there!

ya it sucked bad! I will be there next week but not until after work, around 7 or 8

Bolt in cross bar is not NHRA legal and will not pass tech.

you are the 2nd person who has told me this. Last night I showed the picture to 2 different "tech's" at speedworld and they said it will pass just fine. Also the guy I bought it from used it at firebird and never had a problem..
Should I just have the cross bar welded in?

NHRA General Regulations: 4:10 Roll Bars
Crossbar and rear braces must be welded to main hoop.
The tubes must be welded together. That does not mean welding it to the tabs you have.

If you plan to wrap your harnesses they must be boxed in.
