Any of you out there know what a stock blower terminator would run in the 1320 with a 100 shot of spray and maybe some times for a stage 5 ported eaton with a 100 shot. or any squeez combos.

well IF I could keep a clutch in my car I could tell you what a 4,000lb vert runs with a stock blower on a 100shot. I can tell you with a 1.8 60ft I went 12.0 @ 115, I am hoping with the 100 shot I can go 11.30-11.40 @ 121-122

well, my car is a stage 4 ported, and runs the number in my sig, and has more in it, but the whole "no cage" part gets me booted everytime.

yes, i do have a solid axle. the suspension on my car coupled with the amazing tune, and a little bit of driver mixed in, is what makes it run the times it does, and trap just a hair over 129. and i am NOT spraying any nitrous at all.

running a 3.90 gears, and i hit the traps at about 6300 in 4th. for wheels, i run a set of prostars. 15x3.5 and 15x10 out back. as for tire, i have been running a 26x10 et drag slick.

AZSonicSnake

nope, a 3/4" billet spacer is what i run. has worked fine for the past 2+ years. just needed some long studs.

do you remember what the part number was for the studs you used? i believe you have to drill out the flange right? 29/64th or something like that..

odd that it says not to use them with wheel spacers... what thickness spacer did you use?

But i think thats for the rear.. for the front is what i was looking into NO thats for the front. I have them in my car. The ARPs are a little longer than the Moroso's. They are a special part from Baer.

I have the Weld drag lites and drag stars available to me both in 15x 3.5..on 165r tires

How long is the shank of the lug?

SloSVO
01-05-10, 12:46 PM
well I havn't gone to baer to get them.. I think overall he said they were 3.5 inches.. so i'd guess maybe 3 inch from the face of the hub to tip.. do your have the starting tip to them.. aren't you running welds?

I was asking how long the shanks are on the lug nuts. I have Centerline Convo Pros on the front. I had weld prostars, but they were not legal per NHRA rules with a 1" spacer. My centerlines use a .5" shank lug.

But, it also says they have the same exact 190,000 psi tensile strength and are made of the same 8740 moly just like ARP.
(ARP tech said they don't suggest spacers but people do it w/o issue)

$100 for front studs from ARP - both list the same strength exactly

or $22 from moroso w/o the cadmium-plating

Both have starting tips also.

For the record I ran spacers in the front of my daily for quite a while w/o a Moroso stud issue. But if there were a question of safety to you just spend the extra $78. (cheap peace of mind)

Baer does make some sweet spacers!

There are two kinds of fasteners ARP and those who wish they were ARP. :biglaugh:

Oh ya I agree, Arp will always be my first choice too. Just wanted share my luck with a brand that was cheaper and had done me well.

Now with that being said if they ever fail I will be sure to start a "nice" thread about putting on new fenders and wheels thanks to Moroso. :woot2:

At the '03 WFC, I witnessed an '03 vert running 10.7s with pullies, spray, tune, and wrinkle-wall tires. WFC was having a Cobra Shootout, and this one was only allowed to run exhibition the rest of the weekend. That's because it didn't have any roll cage.
