Got it setup with Speedworld for Saturday, Jan 16th. Gates open at 9 am! I will post times as the date gets closer, but expect all day if we can get a decent turn out.

Feel free to post this anywhere you want, however please make sure those who want to go RSVP on one of the above forums or message me to let me know there is a post elsewhere so I can track it. I will try to update the forums daily on who is coming and hopefully by december have everything ironed out with classes and a good idea of how many are coming!
This will be a heads up Ford vs GM race - youre welcome to pick your opponents, HOWEVER please have that decision made BEFORE you get into the lanes! There will be two lanes just for the Ford vs GM, obviously one for each make... Most wins to a brand wins, IE 15 wins to Ford vs 12 wins to GM or vise versa!
There will be a best 2 out of 3 Ford vs GM races meaning everyone will race at least 3 times (unless you break, or speedworld kicks you out for lack of safety equipment). After each race you will be allowed to either change your opponent, or class in case you break out or want to go faster/slower or got disqualified in the previous race. Time permitting, we can go to 3 out of 5 and more etc. There will be about an hour inbetween races to allow for class changes, cool off, repairs, changes etc. Please keep in mind you ARE allowed to race as much as you want all day because while this is a club day, it is still open for normal racing all day!
Any shops are welcome to come and advertise for no charge and are encouraged to offer discounts or gift cards for winners in any classes such as fastest Ford, fastest GM, or however else they want to set it up.
All track rules and tech rules apply and entry is $25 to race, $15 to spectate.

I dont want maybes or might be going or might have plans but not sure, I need a head count for Speedworld and I would like it to be accurate! Once you are in, please PM me with your screen name, real first name, vehicle info and basic mods, and times, as well as which class you want to run in. MODS AND TIMES WILL NOT BE POSTED! This is only for me to match the vehicles up if you do not choose your own opponent!

These are NOT in stone and I may further divide them. We have just over 50 people signed up, and I may have to get a few of the Ford guys to run twice to make the teams even with the same number of races, but I assure you, the pick will be fair and not favored towards either team!
Beginner Street class - These are your 14.0 and higher teched vehicles or those with little seat time. Non or very few modded GMs and Fords who are not teching for 13.99 or faster, meaning no helmet, driveshaft loop etc. If you break out of this class and run 13.99 or faster, not only will you be disqualified from the race, but Speedworld will make you re-tech with the proper safety equipment. You can re-enter once you have passed tech with the proper equipment into the correct class, but depending on open spots, you may not be allowed to compete. You will still be allowed to run all day at the track though.
Street radial class - These are street tires ONLY, NOT Drag Radials. BFG KDs are still a street tire, however NT555Rs or any road race/drag race radial is considered non street! You can be as fast as you want on a street tire and either choose your opponent, or we will match you up with a similar modded vehicle. Mach 1s and GTOs, 03 Cobras and cammed LSx cars, etc will be similar match ups. If you tech faster then 11.50 (11.49 or faster) you will be required to enter the race class to be fair to others.
Drag Radial class This includes all drag and road race tires. If you tech faster then 11.50 (11.49 or faster) you will be required to enter the race class to be fair to others. If you run 11.49 or faster, or tech for 11.49 you will not be allowed in this class, and if you tech for 11.50 but run faster, you will be disqualified and required to re-tech for your legal times.
Race class - This class is for cars running 11.49 or faster with no tire limitations. You do NOT have to run at least 11.49 to be in the class, but this is a run what you brung class with no limits. Cars ranging from 9 to 11 second quarter miles will be running, so its best to either pick an opponent for this race, or list realistic times and mods to be matched correctly with one.
Pro Race class By popular demand, this is a run what you brung class with NO time board. Win lights only for those who dont want their times known! You are recommended to pick your opponent as well, but this class is unregulated on mods and tires!
